Commercial Slush Machine Maintenance
Quick Troubleshooting
Not Cooling: Check if the voltage is stable. Ensure the machine is placed horizontally with at least 15cm of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation.
Intermittent Flashing on Display: This is normal and indicates the solenoid valve is regulating the temperature.
Loud Vibration / Clicking Noise: The cooling speed might be set too low, or the ambient temperature is too hot. Ensure the liquid mix has the correct sugar ratio.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the correct sugar content required to make a perfect slush?
A: This is critical! Your liquid mix must have a sugar content (Brix level) between 13% and 15%. If the sugar level is too low, the liquid will freeze into a solid block of ice and damage the auger motor. If it’s too high, it won’t freeze properly.
Q: Can I put alcohol in the machine to make frozen cocktails or margaritas?
A: Yes! Because alcohol lowers the freezing point, it takes slightly longer to slush than standard syrup. We recommend freezing your non-alcoholic mix first, and then adding the chilled alcohol once the slush begins to form.
