FAQ

It is built for fusiform fish such as carp, grass carp, tilapia, silver carp, sea bass, and mackerel from 0.3 to 3 kg, doing back-dissecting, gut removal, and membrane cleaning in one pass at up to 2,400 fish per hour. Flatfish and eel need custom guide rails, so send your species list and size spread before ordering.

Sort fish into batches within about 200 g of each other. The machine adjusts to fish length, but gut removal accuracy depends on consistent sizing, and mixed-size batches are the usual cause of missed guts. Pre-sorting is a low-cost labor step that directly protects the 99% gut removal and 95% membrane removal rates.

No. The brush wheel uses food-grade nylon bristles calibrated to strip membrane without cutting flesh, and a soft-brush kit is available for delicate species. If you see flesh damage, the first check is fish condition, since over-soft thawed fish marks more easily, and the second is brush wear, since worn bristles scrub instead of sweep.

The spray system uses roughly 200 L of clean water per hour, and the recirculation option cuts that to about 50 L per hour. Power is 2.2 kW at 380V for the standard machine, and the 0.75 kW vacuum pump ships included, so there is no separate extractor purchase to plan.

Common wear parts, brush wheel, dissecting blade, and vacuum seals, ship from stock, and we publish the wear-parts list with part numbers at order so your store holds the right items. Routine daily rinse and weekly blade inspection cover the maintenance side. For remote plants, an opening spares kit sized to 12 months is the standard recommendation.
