Capacity steps 200, 500, and 1,200 kg per hour from compact to industrial, with the industrial model on 380V three-phase for high-volume broiler lines. Chicken gizzards run on any model; duck gizzards are larger but peel fine, and turkey or goose gizzards need the extended-brush option. Match the peeler to gizzard weight per hour off the line, not bird count.
Check it first. Gizzards need 60-65°C water for 60-90 seconds to soften the yellow skin; skip or shorten the scald and peel rate falls to 70-75%. Verify temperature with a probe. If the scald is right, brush wear is next: brushes run 1,500-2,000 hours, about 12-18 months single shift, before replacement.
Peel first, then strip fat. This machine removes the inner yellow lining; the oil remover then takes the outer fat pad. Reverse the order and fat smears onto the peeled muscle, downgrading the product. The two machines in that fixed sequence produce clean gizzards without hand trimming, which is the whole point of the pair.
Replacement brush sets run USD 65-95 per set and changes are a routine in-house job. Daily cleaning is a hose-down with hot water and food-grade detergent, and the open frame gives full access in under 5 minutes, so brush inspection happens during normal washdown rather than as a separate task.
Yes. Integration flanges are supplied for the major processing line builders’ heights, and we check compatibility against your line specifications before shipping. The machine is common on broiler lines feeding retail, frozen food, and snack markets, positioned after gizzard harvesting and before the oil remover.
