Typical values — each model is configured to your product, cut size, and line speed.
Fresh-cut salad and vegetable lines, pickling plants, and central-kitchen prep lines wash leaf, stem, and root produce ahead of cutting. For the full fresh-produce range, see the fruit and vegetable processing hub.
The range covers 500 to 3,000 kg per hour. The compact 500 kg/h model runs a 0.75 kW blower on 220V for leafy greens, mushrooms, and berries. The standard 1,500 kg/h machine uses a 2.2 kW blower with an ozone option, and the industrial 3,000 kg/h unit carries a 4 kW blower with a 5 g/h ozone generator for full-scale plants.
Bubble agitation lifts dirt by turbulence rather than force, so delicate produce like strawberries, mushrooms, leafy greens, and tomatoes comes out clean without bruising or scuffing. Sprays can damage soft surfaces and brush washers remove peel, which you do not want on product headed for fresh packing. Sand and dirt removal runs 95% or better on roots and 100% on leafy greens.
At 1 to 2 ppm ozone the wash achieves 99.9% reduction of pathogens including E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria, with no chemical residue on the product. Ozone also kills spoilage organisms that shorten shelf life. If you prefer chemicals, the tank tolerates chlorine at 50 to 100 ppm, peracetic acid at 100 ppm, or citric acid at 0.5%. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Plan a water change every four hours of running, or sooner if turbidity climbs past 50 NTU. The optional filtration system stretches water life to about eight hours by removing suspended solids, which cuts both water cost and effluent volume. Watch the water at discharge: heavy soil loads from root vegetables shorten the interval faster than leafy greens.
Yes, it is built for line placement. Discharge heights are matched to downstream elevators, cutters, or air dryers so washed produce transfers without an intermediate hopper. It also pairs with the pitting and peeling machines as the washing stage of a complete line. Give us your line layout and we confirm the infeed and discharge configuration.
Yes. We provide installation and commissioning support, and 12 months of after-sales service, including spare parts help and technical response.
