Nut processors splitting kernels into halves for bakery, confectionery, and topping use. For the full range, see the processing hub.
The range covers 300, 800, and 1,200 kg/h. Choose by your batching pattern rather than peak need: a processor splitting by the batch suits the 300 kg/h model, while continuous feed lines take the 1,200 kg/h version with auto-feed. Also weigh your market, because premium confectionery buyers pay for whole halves, and pushing a small machine to its limit pushes the broken rate up.
Yes. A warm water soak of about 30 minutes softens the kernel just enough that it parts cleanly along its natural line instead of shattering. Skipping the soak is the most common cause of broken rates climbing past the 3% the machine achieves when feed is prepared properly. Build soak time into your schedule; it protects the 96 to 97% clean-halves figure your buyers grade on.
Halves are the standard output. A quartering attachment is available as an option for processors supplying toppings and mixes that need smaller pieces. If your program needs both formats, the attachment fits the same frame, so you are not buying a second machine. Tell us the split of halves versus quarters in your sales mix and we configure accordingly.
Yes, Nonpareil, Carmel, and Mission all process on the same machine; you adjust the roller gap to the variety’s kernel size rather than changing parts. That adjustment takes minutes. Hazelnuts also run with a similar adjustment for the smaller nut. Keep a note of the gap setting per variety, because returning to a proven setting is faster than re-finding it by trial.
Roller sets swap in about 5 minutes with no tools, which keeps product changeovers short. The rollers themselves are the wear part; a monthly inspection catches surface wear before it shows up as broken kernels. We suggest one spare roller set on the shelf from commissioning so a worn surface never stops the line while a replacement ships.
Yes. We provide installation and commissioning support, and 12 months of after-sales service, including spare parts help and technical response.
