CSD producers mixing, carbonating, and filling soft drinks into PET and glass. For the full range, see the processing hub.
Carbonation adjusts from 1.5 to 4.0 volumes of CO2, with cola typically around 3.5 and lighter sparkling drinks lower. The level is set at the carbonating tank and held through filling by counter-pressure control. Moving between products is a recipe change on the panel, not a hardware change.
A carbonated liquid releases CO2 the instant pressure drops, so an ordinary filler would hand you bottles of foam and flat drink. Isobaric filling pressurizes the bottle first, fills at matched pressure, then vents in a controlled way that keeps gas dissolved. Skip it and you cap your carbonation ceiling no matter what the tank says.
Sugar dissolving and syrup mixing run as automatic batch dosing with Brix held to plus or minus 0.1, which is the accuracy both your taste consistency and your label claims rest on. The same platform makes energy drinks by adding a vitamin and caffeine dosing module. Recipes are stored and recalled per product.
Speeds run 3,000 bottles per hour for small soda brands, 12,000 mid-scale with the isobaric filler, and 24,000 industrial multi-flavor. Speed only pays when labeling, packing, and palletizing keep up, so the whole line is balanced rather than quoting a fast filler against a slow back end. We size against your dispatch plan.
Yes, PET bottles and aluminum cans, with quick format change between them, which matters for brands selling both. Cap and can handling differ mechanically, so list your formats at order time. Installation runs 40-60 days with full documentation, and carbonation and Brix recipes are tuned during commissioning on your actual product.
