Fruit paste and juice concentrate producers filling aseptic bag-in-box drums for ambient shipping. For the full range, see the processing hub.
Three barriers work together: steam sterilization of product-contact parts and the bag spout, peracetic acid spray for surfaces, and a HEPA-filtered positive-pressure chamber at Class 100 around the filling zone. Nothing product-touching ever sees unsterile air. That chain, not a preservative, is what makes ambient shelf life possible.
Fruit concentrate, tomato paste, puree, and liquid egg are the standard products. Bags run from 5 L through 20 and 200 L up to 1,000 L on a quick-change filler head, with the ABC-201 auto-changing between sizes at 5,000 bags per hour. The 200 L and 1,000 L drum formats are the export workhorses.
12 to 24 months ambient, no preservatives, when the product enters sterile and the bag stays sealed. That is what makes bag-in-box the export format for paste and concentrate: it ships and stores with no cold chain. The claim belongs to the whole system, so validation runs on your product at commissioning.
The range spans 500 bags per hour for small exporters, 2,000 mid-scale on 5-220 L bags, and 5,000 industrial. The arithmetic differs from bottles: large bags carry surprising tonnage, so a thousand 200 L bags an hour is a serious flow. Size against your evaporator or cooker output, which is usually the real constraint.
Monthly HEPA filter checks and quarterly steam valve service: those two systems are the sterile chain, and a tired filter or leaking valve does not stop production, it quietly raises spoilage risk, which costs far more. Check sheets for both ship with the machine and slot straight into your HACCP records.
