Typical values — each model is configured to your product, cut size, and line speed.
Sauce, paste, and honey producers piston-filling viscous products into jars, bottles, and pouches. For the full range, see the processing hub.
Sizing follows containers per hour and fill volume, with the range at 500 to 6,000 containers per hour across 2-head, 4-head, and 8-head rotary configurations. Piston fillers handle 1,000 to 100,000 cP, so sauces, honey, paste, cream, and toothpaste all fall in scope. Give us viscosity and target rate, and the head count lands by arithmetic.
Fill volume spans 10 to 1,000ml using quick-change piston sets, so one chassis covers retail jars through catering sizes. Each piston diameter has an accurate window, and swapping piston sets changes that window rather than stretching one piston across its limits. We confirm the set list against your SKU range so every product runs inside its sweet spot.
Yes, an optional large-bore nozzle passes particles up to 15mm, with the hopper agitator keeping solids suspended instead of settled. The trade is speed: chunky product runs slower than smooth paste through the same bore, and fill accuracy tightens when pieces are consistent. Tell us particle size and loading, and the nozzle and valve spec follows.
You need it when the product stiffens at room temperature: chocolate, fat-based spreads, and some shortenings flow only when warm. The jacketed hopper holds 40 to 80C across a 40 to 200L volume. Products that flow cold save the money and the complexity. Decide by the product’s viscosity curve, not by rule of thumb, and we help measure it.
Piston seals are the routine consumable on a monthly replacement cycle, and valve rebuilds run quarterly on abrasive or particulate products. Both are quick-change parts, minutes not hours. Hopper agitator bearings get checked on the same monthly stop. Stocking one seal set ahead is what keeps a paste line from waiting on a courier.
