Optimizing Your Oil Extraction
Q: How do machine pressure and residual oil affect my yield?
A: Higher machine pressure directly correlates with higher oil yield. The goal is to minimize the residual oil content in the remaining oil cake. Our LTS series is engineered to exert maximum pressure to squeeze out every profitable drop.
Q: Do different seeds require different temperatures?
A: Yes. Because different oilseeds have distinct stickiness and oil content, temperature control is crucial to reduce resistance during pressing. For instance, peanuts require about 130°C, while rapeseed extracts best at 140-160°C. Our automatic heating system handles these variations effortlessly.
Q: How does the moisture content of the raw material affect extraction?
A: Moisture must be strictly controlled. Rapeseed performs best with a moisture content of 1.5-2.5%, whereas peanuts need about 2.5-3.5% for optimal oil release without clogging the press.
| Oilseed Type | Avg. Oil Yield | Oil Residue in Cake |
|---|---|---|
| Sesame | > 50% | < 8% |
| Peanut | > 46% | < 8% |
| Rapeseed | > 38% | < 8% |
| Soybean | > 15% | < 7% |
