FAQ

The range spans 1,000 to 15,000 bottles per hour: a single head covers microbrewery volumes, a 6-head rotary handles craft scale around 6,000 bph, and a 12-head serves industrial lines. Size against your filler, since crowning must track filling exactly, and carbonated beer cannot sit waiting in an open bottle.

Both are crown finishes, and the choice is set by your bottle spec, not preference: 26mm is the global standard, and 29mm appears on some European bottle styles. The capping head is formatted for one, changeable by tool set. If you buy bottles from multiple sources, standardizing on 26mm keeps one format.

Seal integrity keeps at least 99.5 percent of CO2 in the bottle, which is the whole point of crowning carbonated product. The magnetic clutch controls capping pressure precisely so the liner seals without cracking the finish. For oxygen-sensitive beer, a pre-evacuation option on the high-speed model takes oxygen pickup below 0.05 ppm.

No, crown caps seat on the rigid glass crown finish, and PET cannot hold the crimp. PET bottles take screw caps with induction liners instead. Breweries running both glass and PET formats run both capper types. We quote the pairing when both are in scope.

Monthly cleaning of the capping head, since sugar and beer residue build up and change crimp geometry, plus an annual magnetic clutch check to keep capping pressure true. The vibratory bowl sorter, with 3,000-cap capacity, needs its own clean. Cap rust and dust cause more feed faults than the mechanics do, so cap storage quality counts.
