Typical values — each model is configured to your product, cut size, and line speed.
Bottling lines applying self-adhesive paper and clear labels to round and flat containers. For the full range, see the processing hub.
Servo-driven positioning with optical registration on the label mark holds placement within about 1mm, repeatable across a run. Accuracy depends on two feeds staying true: container spacing at the applicator and label web tension. Both are controlled, not adjusted by feel, and stored per product so shift changes between operators do not move the label.
Round, square, flat, and tapered containers run with quick-change guide rails and the corresponding wrap or panel tooling. Labels can be rectangular, oval, circular, or any custom die-cut on a roll. The combination to verify is shape plus label position, since a tapered container asks different things of a wrap label than a straight one.
Yes, the high-speed configuration applies front, back, neck, and tamper labels in a single pass, with each applicator registered to the same container orientation. One pass beats relabeling through the machine twice on labor and on registration between labels. Mid-range machines apply front and back plus wrap, which covers most food and beverage formats.
An optional thermal print head prints date, batch, QR, and other variable data onto the label at application, which removes a separate coding step for pack-level traceability. The print data links to your batch record. For date codes on the container itself, a separate coder still applies directly.
Bubbles under clear labels come from three sources: applicator roll speed mismatched to container speed, a dirty or worn peel plate edge, and static pulling the label askew before it lands. The peel plate gets a weekly clean and the servo calibration a monthly check. Consistent container spacing fixes most of the rest.
