Canned and frozen mushroom plants and fresh-cut processors slicing or cutting whole mushrooms to spec. For the full fresh-produce range, see the fruit and vegetable processing hub.
The compact model slices 100 to 300 kg/h at 0.55 kW for restaurants and small processors. The standard soft-feed machine runs 300 to 600 kg/h at 1.1 kW, and the industrial unit reaches 600 to 1,000 kg/h at 1.5 kW for frozen-mushroom plants. Button, shiitake, oyster, portobello, and enoki all process on the same setup.
No. A soft-feed conveyor carries the product gently to the blade and calibrated blade pressure does the cut, so delicate caps and stems come through as slices rather than pulp. Usable slice yield runs 94 to 97%, with the loss mostly natural trim rather than damage. Slice thickness adjusts from 2 to 10 mm.
Slicing is standard, and a dicing head is optional for plants feeding canned diced mushroom programs. The head swaps in minutes, and thickness set points store per product. Sliced product for cans, frozen lines, and fresh-cut retail is the main use. Tell us your slice-to-dice ratio at order and we configure both heads with the machine.
The machine is IP65 rated and takes a full hose-down, which is the cleaning method canned and frozen plants expect. Product-contact parts strip for access, and daily cleaning after mushroom lots controls the browning and bacterial load that mushrooms carry. There are no hidden dry-side cavities in the food zone, so the daily routine is short.
It sits after washing and trimming, cutting clean mushrooms to spec before blanching, can filling, or IQF freezing. At up to 1,000 kg/h it matches typical line speeds. Mushrooms arrive fragile, so keep the feed conveyor short from the washer and avoid drop heights. We align infeed and discharge heights at order.
Yes. We provide installation and commissioning support, and 12 months of after-sales service, including spare parts help and technical response.
