Typical values — each model is configured to your product, cut size, and line speed.
Fresh-cut plants, frozen vegetable lines, and packhouses that wash, clean, and buffer produce ahead of cutting or packing. For the full fresh-produce range, see the fruit and vegetable processing hub.
The entry line washes 500 kg/h across 10 m at 6 kW with bubble wash, rinse, and air dry. The standard 1,500 kg/h line adds a soft brush stage over 16 m at 14 kW. The industrial 3,000 kg/h configuration brings five stages with ozone sanitation in 24 m at 28 kW. Match the stage count to your crop mix, since delicate produce needs the gentler stages.
No, when configured correctly. The line uses soft nylon brushes calibrated for leafy greens, and for mushrooms you run brush-less mode, which is bubble wash plus rinse only. Spinach, lettuce, kale, berries, soft fruits, and tomatoes all run on this line. Root vegetables are the exception: they belong on the washing and peeling line, which carries a peeling stage.
Ozone at 1 to 2 ppm gives a 99.9% pathogen kill with zero chemical residue, which simplifies audits and label claims. Chlorine at 50 to 100 ppm is cheaper but leaves residue and forms byproducts organic buyers reject. Properly washed produce holds 7 to 10 days refrigerated versus 3 to 5 unwashed, and ozone extends that further by killing spoilage organisms.
Standard configuration recirculates 70% of process water. The optional filter system raises that to 90% recirculation, which matters in water-scarce regions or where discharge permits are tight. Consumption scales with throughput and soil load, so leafy greens with light soil run leaner than muddy roots. We size the tanks and filtration against your actual crop plan.
It replaces 8 to 15 workers doing tank washing and rinsing, with HACCP-grade consistency that hand washing cannot hold across a shift. Two or three operators cover feed, discharge, and quality checks. Fresh-cut plants, frozen vegetable lines, and packhouses use it to wash, clean, and buffer produce ahead of cutting or packing, with discharge heights matched downstream.
