Onion plants supplying dehydrated, frozen, or fried onion products to food manufacturers and foodservice. For the full fresh-produce range, see the fruit and vegetable processing hub.
The entry line processes 500 kg/h across 12 m built from compact peeling, root cutting, and cutting machines. The standard runs 1,500 kg/h over 20 m adding air drying, and the industrial 3,000 kg/h spans 30 m with automatic sorting and packaging. Floor space and finished product range decide the tier more than raw tonnage.
Yellow, red, and white onions across 40 to 100 mm, covering all common varieties. Shallots run with the optional small-size guide rails. The line handles the full range without retooling between lots, though very mixed size intake sorts better with a pre-grading step, which we can add if your supply is uneven.
Diced, sliced, whole-peeled, rings, and onion paste, switching by configuration and cutting head. That multi-product capability is the point of the integrated line: one plant supplies dehydrated, frozen, fresh-cut, and foodservice formats from the same intake. Tell us your product mix and we set the cutting stations and packing ends for it.
The peeling stage is enclosed with exhaust ventilation, so the lachrymatory gas is captured at source and the work area stays clear. That enclosure is what makes 3,000 kg/h onion processing employable: open-bench peeling at that volume is impossible to staff. Manual supervision moves to quality and packing, not peeling.
The line replaces 15 to 25 manual workers with a small operating crew. From order, plan roughly 45 days of production plus 10 days of installation, about 55 days to running. Warranty is 12 months with video support and an annual maintenance contract available. Utilities, floor preparation, and onion supply contracts run in parallel.
