Typical values — each model is configured to your product, cut size, and line speed.
Packaging lines checking fill weight and rejecting out-of-spec packs. For the full range, see the processing hub.
Accuracy typically lands between plus or minus 0.05g and 0.5g, depending on pack weight and belt speed: heavier packs and faster belts widen the band. The scale rejects packs outside your weight limits, so accuracy translates directly into give-away versus compliance. We state the accuracy for your actual pack weight and line speed rather than a best-case figure from a light pack.
The range covers 30 to 300 packs per minute across models, weighing from a few grams up to 25kg. Matching means weighing at your real line rate with the reject gate timed to the correct pack, not peak throughput on a lab bench. Underweight and overweight packs are diverted automatically. We size the model against your fastest product, future plans included.
A pneumatic pusher arm or air-blast diverter moves the pack off the belt to a separate collection point, and every reject is logged with its weight and timestamp. Batch statistics then show mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum, and rejection percentage. That visibility keeps give-away in view shift by shift, so filler drift shows as a trend long before it becomes a compliance issue.
Yes, weight data flows back to the filler, VFFS or piston, so the fill target auto-adjusts to hold the mean on target and minimize give-away. That closed loop typically pays for the checkweigher quickly on high-volume lines. For legal metrology, the system is built for weights-and-measures duty and configurable to your market’s requirements. Feedback setup is part of commissioning.
Each batch generates statistics: mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum weights, and rejection rate, exportable as batch reports for traceability and audit. Trend view across shifts exposes filler drift and material variation. Load cells are calibrated monthly and the belt replaced annually as routine. Reports integrate into plant systems where required, so records live with the batch file.
