Cooked meat in, uniform shreds out. Adjustable comb geometry controls shred length and texture across pork, chicken, and beef lines.

The MSD-001 series industrial meat shredder is engineered for high-throughput shredding of cooked beef, pork, chicken, ham, and fish into uniform fibers for pulled-meat, jerky, floss (rousong), baby food, and pet food applications. Its counter-rotating toothed drum and comb assembly disassembles muscle bundles along the grain without crushing, preserving the long-fiber texture that premium pulled-pork and beef-jerky brands demand.
Three configurable models span 100 kg/h pilot lines up to 800 kg/h continuous industrial production. The food-contact path is entirely SUS304 stainless steel (drum, comb, hopper, discharge chute, frame), supplied with CE conformity documentation and food-contact material certificates. The quick-release comb assembly toollessly swings open in under 60 seconds for end-of-shift sanitation. A hopper interlock, oversized 4-inch sanitary discharge, and IP66 washdown motor enclosure make MSD-001 ready for HACCP-validated plants exporting to Japan, the EU, and the United States.
Generic mincers destroy fiber. MSD-001 shreds along the muscle grain — producing the long, textured fibers that command +30–50% retail premium in pulled-pork, beef-jerky, and rousong categories.
| Model | Capacity | Drum Ø | Use case |
|---|---|---|---|
| MSD-101 Compact | 100–200 kg/h | 180 mm | Pilot lines, R&D kitchens, small butchers, single-shift retail suppliers |
| MSD-001 Standard | 300–500 kg/h | 250 mm | Continuous 2-shift mid-market plants, HACCP-validated export production |
| MSD-201 Industrial | 600–800 kg/h | 320 mm | 3-shift 24/7 operations, multi-ton contract manufacturing for jerky and pet food |
All three share the same quick-release comb, same washdown motor, same SUS304 build — only drum width and hopper capacity scale up.
The MSD-201 is sized for continuous 3-shift operations supplying contract jerky brands, frozen pulled-meat retort pouches, and premium pet food manufacturers. Its 320 mm counter-rotating drum runs at a calibrated 38 RPM — slow enough to fiberize without smearing fat, fast enough to sustain 800 kg/h on a single operator.
The hopper accepts muscle pieces up to 120 × 80 × 60 mm (no pre-cubing required for most cuts), and the comb gap is field-adjustable between 2.0 and 6.0 mm to dial in fiber length for end-product specification. Variable-frequency drive on the main motor means you can run chilled (4°C) or tempered meat without retooling. Throughput on cooked pork shoulder averages 720–760 kg/h at 4°C feed temperature. *(typical range, configurable per product)*

The MSD-101 brings the same fiber-aligned shredding action into a footprint small enough for pilot lines, retail-supplier kitchens, and single-shift artisanal operations. It runs on standard 220V single-phase power — no electrician required — and rolls on locking castors so it can be deployed beside an existing cooker, then wheeled to the washdown bay after shift. The 180 mm drum handles cooked beef brisket, pork shoulder, chicken breast, and fish fillets at up to 200 kg/h.

Cook first, shred second. Upstream: cooked product from your smoking machine or cooker line; bone-in starting points pass the bone crusher first. Marinated muscle benefits from a vacuum tumbler cycle before cooking. Downstream: shredded product moves to mincing for floss programs, or straight into the blast freezer for frozen pulled-meat pouches. The full chain is on the meat processing machines hub; emulsion and sausage products continue through the bowl chopper instead.
Yes, with the correct comb gap setting (≥3.5 mm) and a feed temperature above −2°C. Raw shredding produces a coarse floss-style texture suitable for some raw pet-food recipes; for premium rousong and pulled-pork, we recommend shredding cooked product at 4°C.
15–35 days for standard MSD-101/001/201 configurations from our Hangzhou factory. Custom VFD programming, multi-voltage export panels, and OEM color schemes add 10 days. Sea freight to most ports is 18–35 days; air freight available on request.
Yes. Each MSD shipment includes a process-parameter card with starting comb gap, drum RPM, and feed temperature for beef jerky, pork floss (rousong), pulled pork, chicken shredding for baby food, and tuna pet-food recipes. Our engineers are available for video-assisted commissioning during the first 90 days.
Daily: toolless comb clean-out (5 min), hopper wipe-down. Weekly: drum inspection, VFD panel filter check. Monthly: gearbox oil-level inspection. Yearly: gear-oil change, drum tooth inspection (replace if tip wear exceeds 0.4 mm), main motor bearing check. Pre-shipment includes a 12-month spares kit covering wear items.
No. The comb assembly is designed for bone-free, tempered-or-cooked product. Bone fragments will damage the comb teeth and void the warranty. Always pre-debone with a bowl chopper or bone crusher if bone-in feed is your starting point.
Yes. Infeed hopper and discharge heights are matched to your existing conveyors and retort-cooker discharge belts at order — send photos and connection-point measurements and we size the interface. For new builds, our engineers size the infeed elevator to your cooker’s peak throughput at no charge.
